Last week we went to the allergist and had Chase tested for environmental allergies. Our results proved that Chase is allergic to almost everything outside. He is allergic to grass, weeds, trees, cats, and other things that I am not familiar with. So yesterday, Chase went for his first round of allergy shots. He got one in each arm. He was such a big boy!! The nurse asked him to face the other direction, so he would not see the needle, but he didn't listen and watched the entire time. I am so glad he did good because he has to go two times a week for eight and a half weeks, then he has to go once a week.
Mom, Julie, Chase, Ashlyn, and I went to the beach last weekend. We had so much fun! Chase is a water bug! I am so thankful since we spend a lot of time around the water in the summer. Ashlyn also loves the water and sand. We were excited to find this out. We had a great trip. Chase and I got locked in a bathroom on the way down. Luckily my mom came to check on us. The lady from the gas station said it happens all the time, so she unlocked the door for us. (I am glad that we were not traveling alone since I did not have my cell phone in the bathroom)While we were in the bathroom, I started to panic and all Chase kept saying was, "I can help" (pushing on the door I was trying to open) and "are we stuck in the bathroom?" I was trying to remain clam and told him that we were fine. I'm pretty sure he knew I was a nervous wreck. On our way home, we stopped to go to the restroom at another gas station and Chase said, "Don't lock the door, I don't want to get stuck!" I reassured him that we were fine. I don't want to give him a phobia...it may be too late!
